Excel is where you start. It doesn’t have to be where you live.
Every serious league started in a spreadsheet. A spreadsheet survives one season. What it doesn’t survive is the fifth.
One child, one row. Search by name or by number and you know which team they are on.
A view of the demonstration league.
Registration week, told all the way through.
Monday. You open last year’s sheet and make a copy. The problem is already born: the same kids, again, with the name spelled slightly differently. Pedro Antonio on one row, Pedro A. on another.
Tuesday. Birth certificates start arriving in the WhatsApp group. They come in as photos between “good morning” messages and stickers. Someone downloads them into a folder with names like IMG_2048.
Wednesday. A coach asks who is on his roster. The answer is in the sheet, but the registrar has it open and you can’t share it without sending a version that is already stale.
Thursday. A guardian writes at ten at night asking what time Saturday is. Whoever is awake answers. The next day another guardian asks the same thing.
Friday. You discover four medical clearances are missing. You ask in the group. Two arrive.
Saturday. At the field you discover one of the clearances that arrived has been expired since March. Nobody looked at it: what mattered was that it arrived.
None of this is bad organizing. It’s what happens when the league lives in five places and none of the five knows about the others.
The same thing, side by side.

| An expired paper | A spreadsheet and three chatsYou find out at the field, on Saturday. | Atleta 360You see it on the board before Saturday, because a person verified it. |
| “What time is it?” | A spreadsheet and three chatsAnswered twenty times, and sometimes differently. | Atleta 360It’s in the portal and it goes out on WhatsApp. Answered once. |
| The secretary leaves | A spreadsheet and three chatsShe leaves with the folder, the group and the whole thread. | Atleta 360The file, the chat and the history stay with the league. |
Bring a screenshot of your sheet. We’ll look at it together.
In the walkthrough we open your sheet and tell you what imports directly, what gets cleaned up, and what isn’t worth moving.
